Adelaide Lions Cricket Club’s Inaugural Season – A Grand Start
In its inaugural season, the Adelaide Lions Cricket Club proved to be highly competitive, capping off the year with two premiership wins. The club started strong, registering five teams: one 2-Day team, three Limited Overs teams, and a T20 team.
The B1's led by Damith Abeyagunawardene, finished the regular season on top of the ladder and entered the finals as premiership favourites. The Lions lived up to that status, defeating Ingle Farm in the Grand Final by 60 runs to secure the ATCA B1 Premiership.
